Sourcing their own raw material gives Tomei complete control over quality and allows them to keep the price competitive. Every pipe, silencer shell, and tip is 1.0 mm titanium — not stainless or aluminized steel.

Oversized 152 mm silencer with titanium punched mesh
The high-flow silencer uses a 32.6% open-slot titanium mesh insert and long-fiber glass wool proven to outlast traditional fiberglass under sustained high-temperature use — track or street.

Clamp band + spring pipe joints
Between sections, Tomei uses a hook-and-spring design that absorbs vibration while allowing minor movement — stronger than a conventional flange and bolt joint under heat cycling and track stress.

Precision TIG welds with gas lens and back-shield jigs
Titanium is notoriously difficult to weld correctly. Tomei uses gas lens TIG equipment and back-shielding jigs to produce gold/silver colored welds — the visual confirmation of a weld with zero brittleness.

Installation Notes
The Expreme Ti connects to the existing mid-pipe or factory front pipe via a 2-bolt flange — a gasket is included in the kit. No cutting or fabrication is required on stock undercarriage configurations. Between pipe sections, the clamp-band and spring design requires no gaskets.
