The HP Tuners Smart Access Cable (H-002-01) is specifically engineered to bypass this security layer, allowing your MPVI2, MPVI3, or MPVI4 interface to perform full read, write, and special calibration functions using VCM Suite software.

⚠️ CRITICAL FITMENT & USAGE NOTE
Installation Requirement: This cable must be physically connected to the vehicle's Security Gateway Module (typically located behind the radio, behind the glovebox, or near the steering column depending on the model). It is not a simple OBDII extension.
Operational Requirements:
- Active Internet Connection: Required for the VCM Suite software to verify the bypass during the calibration process.
- Dealer Tool Conflict: This bypass must be removed before taking the vehicle to a dealership for service, as it will prevent official factory diagnostic tools from communicating with the vehicle.
