The Haltech Nexus iO8 is a versatile expansion module designed to scale the input and output capabilities of your Nexus VCU. Built into a rugged, waterproof housing, the iO8 communicates over the Haltech CAN network to provide additional monitoring and control channels without cluttering your main harness. It is the perfect solution for adding auxiliary sensors, solenoids, or motor controls to a modern EFI project managed via the NSP software environment.

⚠️ SYSTEM & USAGE NOTES
The Nexus IO16 requires a Haltech series ECU to function that is configured via NSP software. This module is not compatible with older ECUs using ECU Manager software.
Please Note: While the Half Bridge Outputs are highly versatile, they are not suitable for Drive-By-Wire (DBW) throttle applications.

- 6 x Analog Voltage Inputs (AVI): 0-5V readable range with selectable 1k pull-up resistors to 5V for flexible sensor integration.
- 4 x Synchronised Pulsed Inputs (SPI): Supports both Reluctor and Digital signals; 0-5V range with selectable 1k pull-ups.
- 6 x Half Bridge Outputs (HBO): Supports up to 8A current (sink/source) with 0-100% duty cycle and 2.2kHz switching speed.
