The Haltech LSU4.9 Wideband Hardware Pack (P/N HT-010746) provides a streamlined solution for adding wideband oxygen sensing to your vehicle. Designed specifically for use with the Nexus Series, this kit eliminates the need for external controllers by utilizing the Nexus’s internal wideband hardware. Each pack includes a genuine Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor and a pre-terminated adaptor harness for a seamless installation.

⚠️ NEXUS SERIES COMPATIBILITY & INSTALLATION
Compatibility Note: This hardware pack is exclusively for use with Haltech NEXUS Series devices (NEXUS R3, R5, etc.). Because the Nexus units have an onboard wideband controller, this kit does NOT include an external CAN control box.
Sensor Placement Advice:
- Location: Install the sensor at least 24 inches (60cm) downstream from the exhaust port/turbocharger to prevent overheating.
- Orientation: Mount the sensor at least 10° above horizontal to prevent moisture/condensation from collecting in the sensor tip, which can cause thermal shock and premature failure.
- Calibration: Ensure you select "LSU 4.9" in the NSP (Nexus Software Programmer) settings for accurate air/fuel ratio tracking.
