BTR Shaft Rocker System –

GM Gen IV LS Rectangle Port (LS3 / LSA / LS9)

Valvetrain stability is critical in any performance LS build—and factory rocker mounting is a known weak point. The BTR Shaft Rocker System V2 addresses this by eliminating rocker deflection, improving valve control, and increasing overall durability under high load and high RPM conditions.

Designed using principles found in high-end shaft systems, this setup replaces the factory single-bolt rocker mounting with a rigid, multi-fastener shaft assembly. The result is improved valvetrain geometry, reduced flex, and more consistent performance across the entire RPM range.

Key Features

  • Billet steel rocker stands for maximum rigidity and durability
  • Four shaft configuration per cylinder head for improved load distribution
  • 52100 bearing steel shafts for superior strength and wear resistance
  • Multi-fastener mounting vs. factory single-bolt design
  • Significantly reduces valvetrain deflection under load
  • Compatible with factory LS rocker arms
  • V2 upgrade includes shims for easier installation and improved retention over snap rings

Fitment

  • 2007–2014 GM Gen III / IV LS Rectangle Port Cylinder Heads
  • 6.0L / 6.2L applications including LS3, L99, LSA, LS9, L92, L9H, L94, L96, L76, L77
  • OEM Casting Compatibility: 821, 823, 5364

Important Notes

  • Not compatible with Trick Flow or AFR cylinder heads
  • May fit other aftermarket heads—verification required prior to purchase
  • Factory rocker arms are reused
  • Factory bolts can be reused; new bolts are not included
⚠️ TECH NOTE: Proper installation, geometry verification, and valvetrain setup are critical when upgrading to a shaft system. Always confirm pushrod length, rocker alignment, and clearance during assembly.
