All Business Cadillac CTS-V

Late nights paid off for Stephen when we got his supercharged 2011 CTS-V on the dyno rollers to dial in the nitrous and tune. Using a combination of SCT, HP Tuners for logging, and NX Maximizer we were able to achieve 665HP at wheels and 665TQ through the automatic transmission. The setup consists of a pullied CTS-V, cat-delete on the exhaust, and progressive nitrous plate system with standalone fuel system.

Evo Powered Mustang

It’s not everyday you see a Ford Mustang powered by a Mitsubishi Evo 4G63 engine, but we were excited to get this on the dyno rollers for engine break-in and tune. With a solid base calibration it was off to the track, where a couple shakedown passes worked out the bugs and then with an easy launch it went 9.8 @ 144mph in the 1/4 mile. More to come as Josh gets more seat time and we turn it up.

The setup consists of a fully built Evo9 4G63 engine with a Masfab custom header and Garrett GT42 turbo. E98 fuel is used, and engine management is a Haltech Pro Plugin with M&W ignition, tuned by Hal at Dynosty.

10 Second Porsche 911 Turbo S

Though the Porsche 911 Turbo S packs serious performance from the factory, over 500 horsepower delivered through the PDK transmission to all four wheels, there is even more available if desired. This 2011 911 (997) Turbo S came in for performance upgrades and tune and the results were very impressive, “a great bang-for-the-buck” per the owner.

Performance modifications included Tubi Exhaust, Champion Intercoolers, Diverter Valves, IPD Plenum, BMC air filters and a tune on 93octane gas. The result is a 600whp (est) all wheel drive machine. The factory Porsche launch control does a great job of bringing everything together and pinning you against the seat when it applies the clutch at 5500rpm.

After the performance upgrades were complete we met the owner at the track, where the 911 Turbo S went mid 10 seconds hot-lapped through the 1/4 mile at just over 130mph. This is undoubtedly one of the ultimate daily drivers! Youtube video below.

56 Chevy with LS1 Swap

It was great having another classic in the shop with a modern engine. This 56 Chevy had a Chevy LS1 V8 transplanted into it along with the drive-by-wire system, and was brought to us for a dyno tune. We strapped it on our Dyno Dynamics and proceeded to dyno tune it with HP Tuners.
